I am Alexandru Ioan Cuza and I was born on March 20, 1820, in Barlad (/ˈbɨr.lad/). I was the ruler of the first unified Romanian State. I wish to speak to you about one of the most important moment of the Romanian history.

I am Alexandru Vaida Voevod and I was born on 27 February 1872, in Bobâlna /boˈbal.na/, into a family that taught me to love the Romanian nation and to value justice. From a young age, I wished to be of service to others, so I studied medicine in Vienna and became a doctor, devoted to helping my community.
